Regional Patent Information Centre, Stuttgart The Regional Patent Information Centre (Patentauslegestelle) Stuttgart, located in the Landesgewerbeanstalt Baden-Wiirttemberg, Kanzleistr. 19, will organize on November 8/9, 1979 a seminar entitled “Patent and licences for small and medium enterprises”. Speakers of the seminar will be Dr. E. Hiusser, President of Deutsches Patentamt, and Mr. A. Wittmann, Head of the department for information in that patent office. Seminars of similar character have been organized during the second half of this year in the following places: Berlin - Deutsches Patentamt, July 14/l> (mvited by Rationalisierungskuratorium der Deutschen Wirtschaft e.V. (RKw)); Milnchen - Deutsches Patentamt, September 13/14 (within the frame of the annual autumn meeting of Verband der Patentingenieure und Patentassessoren e.V. (VPP)), Darmstadt - Patentauslegestelle, October 10/l 1 (invited by VDI-Bildungswerk). The topics of all of the seminars relate to patents and technological innovation or patents and technology transfer. Promotion campaign 1979 in France In order to illustrate the effort of the French InPatent Office (Institut National de la Propriete dustrielle, I.N.P.I.) with regard to the promotion of interest in industrial property in general and in patent information and documentation in particular, we reproduce hereafter the calendar of major events, where the I.N.P.I. will participate.
