CALL FOR PAPERS

The Sixrh U.S. Congress of A&ied ~ec~un~~s, sponsored by the U.S. Committee for Theoretical and Applied M~hanics will be held at Harvard ~nive~ity, 15-19 June, 1970. A new procedure is being adopted for the selection of papers for this Congress. A prospective author should : Submit his manusc~pt to an appropriate journal of his choice, stating clearly to the editor that the paper is to be considered for presentation at the Sixth U.S. National Congress of Applied Mechanics, as well as for publication in the journal. The decision on acceptance for the Congress will be made by the Congress Papers Committee and you will be notified of that decision by its Chairman.
