INTERNAWONAL Symposium entitled A CriGcrrl Rrvicwt of Relcrtivistic trtld C/rr.s.sic~tr/ Thc~ttto~~vnrrntit..s will be held at the University of Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania April 7 and 8, 1969. Opening addresses at the two day sessions will be delivered by Professor I. Prigogine of the Free University of Brussels and Professor E. A. Guggenheim of Reading University.

THE SIX,I.H U.S. Nrrtiotzrrl Congress

of Applied Mcchunics will be held at Harvard University during the week of June 15th through June 19th inclusive, in the year 1970. The Congress, held under the auspices of the National Committee for Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, is held once every four years. intermediate between the International Congresses. Further details of the organization of the meeting and a call for papers will be issued at a later date.
