American Board of Orthodontics ne’w tracing requirements

sets

New standard requirements for cephalometric tracings have been stipulated for Board candidates by the American Board of Orthodontics. The original tracing must be in black, the immediate posttreatment tracing must be in red, and the final posttreatment tracing must be in green. The Board’s forty-third annual examinations will be given on March 4 to 10, 1973, at the Marriott Hotel in St. Louis, Missouri. This is a departure from the Board’s former custom of examining candidates during the week immediately preceding the annual meeting of the American Association of Orthodontists. There has been no change, however, in the earlier dates for the written portion of the examination. Candidates this year took their written examinations on Oct. 7, 1972, in Los Angeles, St. Louis, and New York. For further information, write to the secretary of the Board, Dr. Earl E. Shepard, 225 S. Meramec, St. Louis, Missouri 63105.
