ADDENDA Re: Progress in Treatment for Crohn’s Disease, an Editorial, published in the March, 2001 issue on pages 626 – 627. The author acknowledges that the cited work of 1977 demonstrating the efficacy of 6-mercaptopurine in Crohn’s disease (Ref. 2) was performed at Lenox Hill Hospital (New York, NY), with Dr. Burton Korelitz as a primary investigator, and at Mount Sinai Hospital (New York, NY), where Dr. D. Present was the primary investigator. Re: Obesity and Female Gender Increase Breath Ethanol Concentration: Potential Implications for the Pathogenesis of Nonalcoholic Steatohepatitis, an Orginal Contribution, published in the April, 2001 issue on pages 1200 –1204.
