over Corp is buying the Maag Group from Clyde Blowers Capital and CGS Management. The Maag Group was established in 2010 through the merger of Maag Pump Systems and Automatik Plastics Machinery. Headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, Maag manufactures gear pumps, pelletizers and filtration systems for the plastics, chemicals, extrusion and rubber industries. Under Dover ownership, Maag will become part of the company’s Downers Grove, Illinois-based Pump Solutions Group (PSG). “The acquisition of Maag further supports our strategic goal of deploying capital in our key growth spaces and will enhance our overall fluids position through the expansion of PSG’s product portfolio and technological depth within its core markets of chemicals and petrochemicals,” said Dover president and chief executive officer (CEO) Bob Livingston. Dean Douglas, president of Dover’s PSG, said: “We believe that the addition of the Maag Group deepens our leadership bench
while vastly expanding PSG’s product portfolio within our core markets of Chemicals and Petrochemicals.” “We feel that the strength of the Maag brand can be leveraged by PSG in the markets and applications in which we both serve,” added Douglas. Gary Lent, VP of corporate development for PSG, added: “The Maag acquisition is consistent with PSG’s M&A strategic vision of acquiring premium brand positive displacement pump and related technologies. We will continue to explore opportunities that enhance the value to PSG’s customer base.” For further information visit www.maag.com, www. clydeblowerscapital.com, www.cgs-management.com, www.pumpsg.com and www.dovercorporation.com
