PHYSICAL MESOMECHANICS (ISSN 1029-9599) Journal has been founded in May, 1998 Published triannually The journal provides an international medium for the publication of theoretical and experimental studies and reviews related in the physical mesomechanics and also solid-state physics, mechanics, materials science, geodynamics, non-destructive testing and in a large number of other fields where the physical mesomechanics may be used extensively. Papers dealing with the processing, characterization, structure and physical properties and computational aspects of the mesomechanics of heterogeneous media, fracture mesomechanics, physical mesomechanics of materials, mesomechanics applications for geodynamics and tectonics, mesomechanics of smart materials and materials for electronics, non-destructive testing are viewed as suitable for publication. A brief guide for authors A submission to Physical Mesomechanics must be the original work of the author(s) and must not be published elsewhere or under consideration for another publication in its submitted or a substantially similar form in any language. Research papers will be considered. The following materials should be submitted. Two copies of the typescript each including: (a) Title page with: title of article, name(s) of author(s), address(es) of establishment(s) where work was carried out. (b) Corresponding author (full name, phone, e-mail). (c) Abstract. (d) Keywords. (e) Text with double line spacing on A4 (210 u 297 mm) or similar paper. (f) List of full references given in the numerical system (on separate sheet).
(g) List of captions for illustrations. (h) Set of copies of illustrations. One typescript copy must be signed by all co-authors. No abbreviations and abridgements are allowed in the manuscript. Please submit also the electronic version of the manuscript in the Word for Windows format.
Publication information Physical Mesomechanics (ISSN 1029-9599). For 2008, volume 11 is scheduled for publication. Subscription prices are available upon request from the Publisher or from the Regional Sales Office nearest you or from this journals website (http://www.elsevier.com/ locate/physme).
