A member of IEEE, Mr O'Sullivan has contributed scientific papers to professional societies and authored articles for professional journals. His recent paper on Algorithm for Modelling Saturating Magnetic Devices was given at the Seventh Design Automation Workshop in San Francisco in June, 1970. He resides in Pottersville, N J, with his wife and three children.

Tenney Engineering names President of Subsidiary George A O'Sullivan was named President of C M L - M A C A R R , Inc, electronics subsidiary of Tenney Engineering, Inc. The announcement was made by Saul S Schiffman, chairman of Tenney. C M L - M A C A R R is a manufacturer of ac/dc power supplies, wide band power amplifiers, variable speed controllers, battery chargers and a variety of electronic products. Mr O'Sullivan served for the past year as Vice-President and General Manager of C M L - M A C A R R . He has devoted his time toward new product development, including solid state ac power amplifiers, digitally controlled frequency changers, and shipboard battery chargers. Before coming to Tenney, he was VicePresident and General Manager of a division of Condec Corp, where he introduced computer-aided design techniques. The Editor's Report for i970, for t h e Journal of Vacuum Science and Technology (USA) announces the following changes in the Editorial Board: Frank Propst retired from the post of editor at the end of 1969 and was replaced by P A Redhead as editor from January I, 1970. The following members of the board of editors retired at the expiry of their three year terms on Deceml:er 31, 1970: J C Helmer (Varian Associates), J J Lander (Bell Telephone Labs), L I Maissel (IBM). R B Marcus (Bell Telephone Labs) resigned from the board in June 1970. J R Young (GE), who had only served a short term as associate editor for Vacuum Technology, was reappointed for a further three years. The new board members are: D T Bourgette (Union Carbide Nuclear Corporation), E V Kornelsen (National Research Council of Canada), S R Mader (IBM).
