In February we sent out nomination forms for the awards to thousands of companies over the world that are active in the industry. We had a great response from companies keen to put forward their filtration and separation products or services for the awards. From the many entries we received we have drawn up a fmal shortlist of nominations which you will find listed on pages 32-36.The list comprises products and services launched over the last three years across a number of categories. It is now up to you the readers to vote for those nominations that you feel will contribute most to the prosperity of the industry and/or your own business. Please take the time carefully to read through the nominations and vote for your single choice in each category on the voting form that you can find on p37 in this month's issue. Also note that there is a new category in this year's awards of "Best Web Site" reflecting the increasing use of the Internet and W W W by companies active in filtration and separation. If you have access to the W W W please browse each site prior to making your choice.
All fully completed voting forms will be entered into a Prize Draw in which you will have the opportunity of winning vouchers up to the value of $400 off any products from Elsevier Advanced Technology's range of Industrial Engineering publications. Entry is simple. All you need to do is tick one product or service of your choice in each category on the voting form in this issue. To qualify for the chance of winning a prize you must complete the whole voting form and nominate a "Product of theYear". Then post or fax the completed form to us by no later than 17th S e p t e m b e r 1999. The first three completed entries drawn out of a hat will win a prize. Good luck!
