The MFP-2000 from Palas GmbH, Germany is designed for the measurement of the fractional efficiency of filter media for special standards such as EN 1822, SAEJ 1669, ASHRAE 5, 52 P and DIN 71460. A novel aspect is the modular co+tiruction of this. filter test rig containing aerosol generators, a discharge system and a particle measurement device. Due to the possibility of using different generators in one test rig, the user can carry out tests according to diirent standards with only one rig. In addition the single components of the test rig can also be used in other test systems. Tests can be carried out easily, qulckly, reproducibly and very exactly using very lii quantities of test dust.
