Progress of the American Dairy Science Association depends on membership participation in the various programs and the caliber of leadership elected. Therefore, it is exceedingly important that each member give serious consideration to nominations to fill the elected positions in 1973-74. 1) Vice President from the Production Division. The electee succeeds to the presidency in 1974-75. 2) One director from the Production Division to serve for a period of three years. 3) One director from the Dairy Foods Division to serve for a period of three years. The Association covers a broad spectrum of activities, and representatives of as many different major interests as possible in the Board of Directors is important. Members are urged to give attention to the perspective nominee's background and affiliation as well as to his

other leadership qualifications when submitting nominations. Each member will receive from the National office a folwn on which to make nominations. These will be transmitted to the chairmen of the committees of the division, who have the responsibility of selecting two candidates for each office. If a member fails to receive a nomination form, nominations may be by letter addressed to C. J. Cruse, Executive Seeretary, 425 Illinois Building, 113 North Nell Street, Champaign, Illinois 61820. Nominations are requested to be received by the Executive Secretary on or before December 1, 1972.
